We at American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning have always strived to produce systems
that provide total year-round comfort for your home at the lowest possible cost of operation.
Now we'd like to provide a little more comfort during tax season.
Qualifying American Standard products placed into service after December 31, 2008 and before
January 1, 2010 are eligible for the credit allowed under Section 25C of the Internal Revenue
Code as Qualified Energy Property. A taxpayer claiming credit for Qualified Energy Property
should retain a copy of the American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning certification as part
of the taxpayer’s records, along with the receipt from purchase. Taxpayers should consult with
a tax advisor to determine what qualifies for a tax credit or refer to the rules of the
Internal Revenue Code.
American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning has many different combinations of equipment
that can be included under the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008. Please click
